Stina Nordenstam returns with her unique vocal style for This Is Stina Nordenstam and there is no denying it, her voice is a true instrument of beauty. Brett Anderson (Suede) adds to Stina's fragile vocals on a number of tracks to give them a totally new dimension with the beatlesque sound of "Keen Yellow Planet" working particularly well. If you are looking for something fresh and different, then this is full of enchanting soundscapes just waiting to be explored--just don't expect your standard three and half minute song. With a release of a film to accompany the album you should get to see the full diversity of the concepts behind all the songs.
