派手なトリックなどはありませんがじっくりとストーリーを楽しませてくれました。
主人公でありながら普段は出番が少ないマープルですがこの作品では結構活躍します。
このような私立探偵ものにありがちな無能な刑事が今作では登場します、
マープルを信頼している刑事も登場するのでその賭け合いが面白かったです。

This is a great movie based on the book “What Mrs. McGillicuddy saw.” Elspeth McGillicuddy is taking the 4:50 home to Paddington when she looks out the window at a passing train. She spies a woman being strangled by a man that is hearing trench coat. To distract us just about every man in the movie wears a trench coat.

Notice how Aunt Jane is always several steps ahead of the others in planning. And I like how Aunt Jane grates on David Horovitch as Detective Inspector Slack. "…When one of us is clever enough to find the body.
