Better price than Akibakan, with smooth Amazon service, as always. The product does the job very well, without any glitches. It's a little more sudden and a little noisier than the original "Apple" DVD which I had to replace because it would not seem to work with the new blank media. My G5 is almost 5 years old and would write DVDs at just 2x speed. I couldn't understand why, but it may have something to do with the newer, faster DVD media nowadays. I found a much older disk and my original drive could still write this disk at 8x speed; but not newer media. Go figure.

I would have gladly given 5 stars to this product, and almost did, but I'd prefer a softer eject/load cycle. Also, if you have a G5, you must first remove the plastic "front" with the logo. If you don't it will stick in the G5 door. When you take off that part, the cosmetic appearance of the tray is not so good. Maybe you can stick some ornamental plastic to it, if that worries you. I decided not to, because that part is almost always concealed behind the Mac's sliding door anyway.

パイオニア製で手ごろなのはないかと探していたところ、この商品を見つけたので購入しました。
バルクなのでソフト等の付属品はありませんが、ユーティリティーのみサイトからダウンロードが可能なようです。
少々、読み込むときのキーンという音が気になりますが、音自体はまだ小さい方だと思います。
書き込み精度もよく、失敗はまずありません。
ですが、DVDビデオを作製したところ、PS2では動作が不安定になる場合がありました。
同社製のDVDプレイヤーでは問題はありませんでしたが、DVDビデオの作成には注意したほうがいいと思います。
