日本語で言うところの単語帳である。
単語にたいしての文法上の注意などは書かれていない。
しかし、当然だが、単数形と複数形は載ってある。
非常によく使われる単語の欄には例文が少しあったりする。

Comparing with japanese dictionaries, this can't be called a dictionary.
It's just a so-called wordbook.
It doesn't give any grammatical advise on the words.
