Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana have successfully coexisted for four years, and the Hannah story has given Miley the gift of a somewhat normal adolescence. But as Miley and Lilly look forward to going off to college, might it be time for Miley to reexamine her priorities and goals and consider revealing her secret to the world? Miley's senior year of high school starts out full of promise as her family moves into a new house and she and Lilly head off to school. But things get bumpy when Miley discovers that her dad forgot to mail her enrollment papers and the school principal refuses to enroll her until second semester. Meanwhile, Jackson begins dating the b-b-bikini model Siena, Rico is up to his usual business endeavors, Oliver is on the road with his band, and Lilly is working hard to be a good friend to Miley and keep the peace with everybody. As usual, being Hannah affords opportunities that aren't available to Miley, things like the promise of getting quickly enrolled in high school, being accepted into Harvard, and having an honest relationship with Jesse. But the tradeoff for admitting that she is Hannah Montana is a complete lack of privacy for Miley. Miley does some serious soul-searching throughout this final season, and with a lot of help from Lilly, her dad, Mamaw, and even Jackson, Miley eventually makes a decision that will forever change the course of her life. As always, Hannah Montana is grounded in the reality of the joys and challenges of growing up--never mind that the dialogue is peppered with quirky one-liners and the show sometimes meanders into the comically ridiculous, like the episode "I'll Always Remember You," in which Jackson, Siena, and Rico serve as singing narrators. Guest stars pack this final season and include Dolly Parton, Sheryl Crow, Cody Linley, and talk show hosts Jay Leno, Robin Roberts, and Kelly Ripa. This two-disc set contains all 13 episodes of the final season and comes packaged with a collectible memory book and case. The book details everything from Hannah's fashion evolution to the show's most outrageous scenes, biggest moments, favorite character sayings, and most famous guest stars. Bonus features include a two-minute alternate ending for "Wherever I Go" and an interview with all the major actors in which they look back at the past five years and offer their goodbyes.
