The Digital Photography series (3 "volumes") by Scott Kelby have useful information in them, but you get the definite impression the books have been padded with unnecessary waffle to up the page count. What hints and tips there are could easily have been condensed into a single volume at a lower price, but then again maybe that's the point. Caveat Emptor.
