約100語からなるstoryを読んで、１storyにつき、10問の問に答えるものです。

普通に英語を学んでいる日本人なら、中学生にちょうど良いくらいではないでしょうか？
ネイティブでも、G1でこの文章や質問を”スラスラと自分で読める人”はそう多くないと思います。
（親が音読して質問に口頭で答えるだけならOKでしょう。）

たとえば、こんな感じです。

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. He worked on his invention for a long time.Then one day he spilled a chemical all over himself while he was working. "Mr.Watson,come here," he shouted. "I want you !"
Thomas Watson was in another room,but he heard Mr.Bell's voice through the telephone receiver on the table next to him. At the moment, he realized that their invention was working! He ran to tell Mr.Bell the good news.
Soon people all over the world had phones in their homes. That was more than 100 years ago.
