This book was a great read. I thouroughly enjoy reading about Merry and her men. In fact I guess I'm one of the few people that the sex doesn't bother(although I could really, really do without the whole sex with the goblin scene.) From both books the reader comes to realize that the Fey are a very sensual and sexual race. So it would make sense that there is going to be sex! And if part of the plot is that Merry needs to get pregnant, well then, she must have sex. My personal peeves with this book is that Laurell took the characters back to California. I enjoyed reading about the Fey society, and Merry's interaction with them. The plot was a bit skimpy, but enough to keep me reading it well into the night. I do hope we find out more about the Seelie court(and their motives for poor Merry), and learn more of Merry's new powers.
A great book to read is The Price of Immortality it is written by a C.M. Whitlock
