Sometimes things don't seem to be working, sometimes people aren’t treating you right, sometimes you can’t seem to “get a break.” But as Thomas Watson so elegantly writes, All Things For Good.
If you ever feel that things are lacking, that bad things seem to dominate, that God’s blessing are not happening: Then be encouraged that God really is still working and allow God to speak to you through it.

This book has blessed me greatly and I pray that it will bless you too, in ways that will show you how God works ALL things for good in ANY situation - good or bad - for our blessing, because of His mercy and unmerited grace.

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want”. (NIV) - Philippians 4:12

“The secret of being content in any and every situation.” What a statement. No matter what, Paul learned how to be content regardless of the circumstance.

Let us study from verse 10 to 13. To understand this amazing view point and attitude that Paul learned:
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.

Regardless of the circumstance, Jesus is ALWAYS there with you, TO GIVE YOU STRENGTH ! If you have God – you have EVERYTHING ! EVERYTHING you need, everything.
