What is special about your characters? What's so special about my characters is that they aren't perfect. Take Aria for example. She can be irrational and make poor judgment calls that might come off as reckless but at her core, she is a fighter and she always has a reason for what she does. She reacts to her situations the way anyone else would. And sometimes that involves panicking and making things worse before they can get better.
How many books are in the Blood & Magic series? Right now four are out but book 5—Consumed by Fire—will be released August 2018 along with book one in my spin-off Blood & Bone series featuring some familiar characters.
How do readers know if they will like your series? You'll like my series if you're a fan of snarky heroines in volatile settings. And odds are that if you enjoyed the Mercy Thompson series or enjoy books by K.F. Breene and Shannon Mayer, you'll like Aria Naveed. Kicking butt and taking names is kindof her thing.
Anything we need to be warned about? Aria can have a foul mouth from time to time. The Blood & Magic series is also extremely fast-paced. There are a lot of twists and turns and each book can feel like an emotional roller-coaster.
