Ultra-Trail Mt.Fuji (UTMF) is the longest trail running race in Asia, the course goes around Japan’s highest peak Mount Fuji. Its total distance is 161km = 100 miles. Even though it is the only second year of the race, it is getting an international reputation as a sister race of Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB). Around 2,000 runners were participated from more than 40 countries all over the world. In addition, Mt.Fuji has been registered as a world cultural heritage this year as an inspiration of art and spiritual, this race is getting more attention internationally. UTMF of this year was held for three days at the end of April. Is has been sunny every day, and full moon at night. The runners gathered from all over the world were watched over by sacred Mt.Fuji, shining with sun light and moon light, and they ran though day and night for row days.
