Jim Hawkins is a young boy from Bristol in England witnesses a strange event, as an old sea captain is presented with The Black Spot by a motley gang of old seamen. The black spot is secret message used by pirates as a threat causes the old captain to die within minutes. This dead triggers a chain of events that leads Jim in search of buried treasure on a far of island however on the way his ship is highjacked by a ruthless gang of pirates.
