UV 62mm MRC XS-Pro Nano mount filter blocks the invisible UV component of light from the sky which often causes blur. UV Filters are ideal for when shooting in high altitudes such as in the mountains, by the sky and in regions with extremely clean air. Blue casts are also avoided with this UV filter. The glass of this UV filter is colourless which doesn't alter the colour rendition and no increase in exposure is required. This colourless, multi-coated UV filter protects the lens' element against dust & sand and can be kept on the lens at all times. The extremely hard MRC (Multi Resistant Coating) optimizes the protective effect and facilitates cleaning in case of accidental fingerprints or when the surface becomes soiled. This type of filter has a multi coating layer on both sides (7 + 1 on each) which ensures maximum reflection reduction and eliminating unwanted stray light. The MRC coating also protects the filter from scratching with increased layer hardness and reserving the quality of the filter. An MRC filter is also dirt and water resistant which makes it extremely easy to clean. The XS-Pro Digital filter mount is an extremely narrow filter mount and is ideal for demanding DSLR photography with short wide-angle zooms, beginning at 12mm (APS format). This mount has a small construction depth yet it is fully equipped with a front thread for further accessories such as lens hood or snap-in lens caps. This mount series is also made of brass and comes in matte black to prevent reflections.
