In the mid-1960’s, a major shift occurred in the church. Instead of calling sinful and deviant behavior “sin”, it was labeled “sickness”. Now instead of seeking God’s definitions and explanations of human behavior, more and more people are accepting a secular worldview based on humanistic psychology rather than the Bible.
