津軽三味線デュオ『輝＆輝』がバンドを結成！弘前大会優勝の白藤ひかり、金木大会優勝の武田佳泉が結成した、女性津軽三味線デュオ『輝＆輝』（きき）。全日本津軽三味線競技大会名古屋大会デュオの部四連覇達成、アルバム二枚発表を経て、本格的な津軽三味線バンドとしてさらなる進化を遂げました。白藤ひかりと武田佳泉の津軽三味線に、ピアノ・伊藤辰哉、ベース・新井和輝、ドラムス・勢喜遊の３名が参加。津軽三味線と民謡のサウンドを活かしつつ、フュージョンとロックを採り入れた大胆なアレンジで、若くエネルギッシュな「新しい津軽三味線」を伝える６曲入りアルバムです。

KI＆KI is a Japanese Tsugaru Shamisen girls' duo consists of SHIRAFUJI Hikari and TAKEDA Kanami, not only both of them are champions as solo player in national Shamisen competition, but also KI＆KI has got the duo champion 4 times. Here, KI＆KI has formed the new band, this is the first album of them. Their music is based on Japanese traditional folk music, but now they are going to beyond the tradition. Though Hikari and Kanami plays Tsugaru Shamisen in all songs, not only just a Japanese traditional music, adopted rock and fusion elements. Once you listen this album, you may feel pathos, a kind of Japanese "WABI SABI", and other time, you will be rocked and excited. Enjoy the Japanese new traditional music with KI＆KI band!
