This is an optional 28-tooth pinion gear for the Traxxas 4-TEC and other Traxxas vehicles.

Boost acceleration, out-of-the-corner punch, and run time, by installing an 16-tooth pinion gear with the stock 83-tooth spur gear, or install a 23-tooth pinion gear to attain higher top speeds.
