Having been recommended this one highly by my peers, I decided to check it out. The novel style makes us connected to the success or failure of the projects discussed by connecting us to the protagonist. The purpose of the book is to enlighten us to basic production and business rules and its processes in a logical, clear way. Though some technical terms and processes sometimes thre me off, I could still imagine what actually happens or is possible in a production environment. Goldratt obviously has spent much time and reserach to present good ideas for business efficiency; concepts that stand the test of time to changes in the economy and marketplace. And though the story is American, the ideas can be applied globally.
