If you never heard his music, or if you heard and think to buy his CDs, start with this one! It was my first CD of Hajime Mizoguchi. Once I got and listened to it, I realized that the music on this album is one of the best I ever heard!

Hajime Mizoguchi is a famous Japanese cellist, who plays and composes music for televisions series, movies and animation. He also released several solo albums. This CD is a compilation of his works created before 2002. Themes vary from solo cello to full orchestra. Some tracks are so emotional that when I hear them memories of my childhood comes to my mind. That's a very touching experience. His music is a new classics.

Several famous musicians had participated in the recording of this CD, including Yoko Kanno (piano), the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and others.
