C.S.ルイス「難解3部作」の第２章。前回の火星探検に引き続き、今回は金星探検。出始めの３０ページはすさまじい抽象性で圧巻！・・・読み続ける気がまったく失せるほど(?)難解。例によって非常に寓意的。

Perelandra is the second in Lewis's space trilogy. In it the hero from "Out of the Silent Planet" is this time taken to Venus where he finds himself "God's advocate" to the "devil's advocate" for Venus's version of Eve. Lewis uses this vehicle to explore the nature of temptation. This book is perhaps the most enjoyable in the series.
