This book is very good for students with a strong foundation in English already. Good for advanced or high intermediate students. Some lessons are designed for large classes, but they can be adapted to small numbers. The topics vary from light to heavy giving students a well rounded exposure and variety. Students are asked to do preparation thinking out their views in advance before each class and then discussing and debating those ideas in class. Many timely true life courtcases ground the book in reality.

とにかくTopicが豊富です。普段つきつめて考えた事のないようなテーマについて、英語で自分の意見を述べたり、討論する訓練が出来ると思います。また、重要な単語は別途ピックアップされていて、単語力も強化できると思います。但し、この本自体は、グループディスカッションを念頭において作成されていると思われますので、自分一人で勉強する人には不向きだと思います。
