Learn words the efficient way!

My goal here is to aid memorization, which is done primarily through three broad processes: association, chunking and differentiation. Association is when two ideas form a connection. Chunking is when specific ideas are united under a general heading. And differentiation is when different traits from similar ideas are drawn out. The traditional alphabetized vocabulary list doesn’t utilize any of these processes for the reader. This book does.

Instead of organizing by spelling, this book organizes by meaning. First, the table of content lists pairs of opposing general words. Under each pair, there is a list of more specific words with similar but different meanings. Each individual word is clarified by a definition and an example sentence. This organization concept is simple, but as you look through the book, you’ll understand why learning words this particular way is easy and effective.
