今、オレンジロードの高田さんのイラストはおめにかかりにくい貴重なだけに特にまどか中心となると記憶の上では曖昧なだけに一気に見れるのは嬉しいことです。ただ番組が終了して時間がたってからのイラストは明らかに別人となっているのでこの画集にはまぜないで欲しかった。高田さんは時間がたつと別のキャラのイメージがまざりやすく画力も進化しているので過去のイラストと並べると違和感がスゴいんです。だからその当時のキャラクターを壊さない為にも時系列別に画集におさめて欲しい。僕としてはマミやオレンジロードあたりのパステル調のものが凄く好きなんですよね♪

This is an absolutely gorgeous retrospective of Takada Akemi's artwork for the classic '80s anime series Kimagure Orange Road. Included are laserdisc jacket covers, CD covers, posters and more. Some recent pieces are included like the art for the DVD "uber" box (the big box designed to hold both the TV series and OVA series DVD sets), art from the book "MADOKA", and some original work not related to Orange Road. I was very impressed with the quality of all of the art in this book. Also includes an interview with the artist. This is an oversized softcover in a clear plastic slipcase. Highly recommended for all fans of Takada Akemi or Kimagure Orange Road.
